34 people came to the International Student Christmas Party in an American home. Gary and Carol Benson graciously opened up their home for us to have an smaller Christmas party. The students learned Christmas songs accompanied by a cello and electric organ. Herb and Gloria Baker shared with us about the meaning of the candy cane and their experiences of Christmases in different countries. There was plenty of food for all. Students came from the following campuses HIU and Biola campuses. Students represented the following countries: Korea, China, Kenya, and South Africa.
